Okay, today's photo is not food, it's all dog! Jenny really gets tired of me taking photos of her. After a while, it seems she gets downright suspicious. :)

With all the blow-up Christmas lawn ornaments around, I have seen tons of snowmen, Santas, Trees, Elves, etc., but my favorite is the blow-up Grinch. Someone has one near where I live, so I do not have to go far to find the Grinch. I did some post processing to make the Grinch more cartoonish.

Having been up since 4:30 this morning and a totally stressful day, I almost forgot to get my photo in for the day. To keep with the holiday theme, below is a photo of a very "undressed" gingerbread man cookie. :)

Have you ever looked at a common, everyday object, and seen it from a different perspective. That happened to me a little while ago. This should not be too hard to figure out.

Although we are supposed to get some really messy weather tonight - snow to freezing rain - that does not stop me from taking photos of objects topped off with snow. :)

Sometimes oops shots actually turn out interesting. I took this one by accident with my 35mm f/1.4 (pre-AF model), then converted it to B&W. Not the most in focus, but it was hand-held at 1/15th, f/1.4 and ISO 400. It definitely was not a planned shot. :) The shadow is from a stool.

About the only plants I can grow without murdering them, is a variety of succulents. They actually don't mind being neglected every so often. I bought this guy earlier this year. I think it's rather slow growing. It did manage to bloom for me at the end of the summer. It's a type of jade plant called a dollar plant. If it manages to get really large, like some photos I have seen, then I can call it a dollar tree. Right now, it has a long way to go before it hits tree stage. :)

Warning....Opportunistic Feline Photo!! :)

Buster has 25 toes: 6 on each hind foot, 7 on his left front foot, and 6 on his right front foot. There are times I refer to him as Mr. Toes. Below are 6 of his toes.

For some reason, I thought I had posted my 365 photo earlier today.

This was the first time in a good number of years that I can remember the Susquehanna River having ice floes on it in December. But then again, the is the first time in a long time that I can remember snow on the ground before Christmas.

I took this photo at one of the boat launch spots along the river in Apalachin. Yes, the same Apalachin that all those Mafia guys met together in the late 1950s and were noticed and then arrested.

Well, we're right in the middle of the snow storm that is blanketing the east coast. So far, we've had about 6 inches. it's nice to see snow in December. I took these photos earlier today. The first is the little bridge that crosses our drainage ditch in the backyard. The second is the bench on the porch, or should I say, just the snow-covered bench seat. :)
