Re: The Other Day

Starting to like the 55-300mm Michael?

Honestly I think if I buy a D7000 or D7100 it will perform better. So I keep it and try to like it. If I feel really upset about it I will buy maybe a 70-300 or so.

But now I just start to find my photography point and this might be Landscape as well as Cityscape and daily walk around as well some school-events. (Here I am looking for a 35 or 85 prime.

Re: The Other Day

Considering the type of shots you take, I think your right about a 35mm and or a 85mm. I think they would serve you better. I have the 70-300mm and for street it seems to make me have to get back quite a bit for street shots. Maybe something like the 18-105mm might suit your needs better for just a good walk around lens for the shots you enjoy taking. I can't say myself, since I haven't filled that street shot lens need for myself yet.lol :) I like the primes better myself normally, but if you don't want to switch lenses during your walks the zoom I mentioned or something in that range may be much more convenient for you. :)

Re: Where do I live

We are fear it will come to us too soon. We just 30 kms away now from the unrest. We already canceled the father's day Bangkok Trip to Dreamworld. It's not safe to go there, they called us today. Have to tell my daughter today when she comes home from school.

Oh I hate this and seeing her disapointed face . She wanted that so bad to see snow.

We will find another activity.

Thanks mike for your concern.

Michael, I'm sure she'll understand it's for the safety of the family. She's young, she'll get to see snow some time in her future.
