Im no Canon fan partly because I decided to go Nikon when getting into it. But I read the comments against Canon and laugh and also think back on how easily I could have been a Canonite. What made all of you go Nikon. I do realize I should have started a new thread on this but I didn't.

What made all of you go Nikon.

I used to take photos with my Fuji Camera S9500. I was not so satisfied cos the batteries were running out that fast. I decided to buy a new camera.

I went to BigCamera in Chonburi and was looking arround and two camersa I liked about haptics, the Nikon D80 and the Canon D50.

I tried both in the shop. The D80 was the one which was great in my hand, in handling and the color of the taken photos (Preview).

Since that I love Nikon.

My cousin, who is a pro photographer and does a living with it, is using canon. When he went to university and studies art and photography they used Canon. Honestly he is thinking changing to Nikon now of the color-range of the photos taken by Nikon.

I was shooting Olympus (both Four Thirds and Micro Four Thirds bodies) but wanted to add an APS-C body and possibly a FF body. It was about the time the D7100 was coming out and it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Since then I have added a D800. (And I still shoot with the Olympus gear as well) No regrets going with Nikon.

You know what they say...

"If you ever go Nikon, you'll never have a gripe on!" :biggrin-new:

I have a Nikon P310 right now, but hopefully, that is soon to change.

More about that later.
