OK this describes me! At least I now know for sure that it is a Syndrome. I know that there are others of us out there with this same affliction. Maybe we should start a support group. Then again maybe I don't want to be cured.

Feel free to admit you are affected as well. Maybe we can get on Dr Phil :cool:

Funny! But, true . . . I'm not as extreme as the examples in the article, but I do see the world through a viewfinder. I'm often seeking that shot, subconsciously.

Add me to the list. It is so true, that's for sure. I also always make sure I have a large enough purse so I can put my camera in it when necessary. :)

I can't honestly say I'm that far gone yet, but I'm getting there! Lol After I shot the spiders in my back yard, I started wondering if someone would call the cops if I searched the neighbors back yards for spider shots too! Lol :D
But then I realized that it might not turn out too good if a man with waist long hair and a fairly long beard was caught wandering around other peoples back yards with a camera! Lol :D

Let's just say that I'm lucky my neighbors know me, my eccentricities and all, so I don't get much more than a "What are you trying to shoot today?" when I get caught in their yards. ;) I *DO* stick to front yards mostly, and will only go inside the fenced in back yards after asking...

I gave up on carrying my camera with me everywhere. When you have 4 kids (including a baby who needs his own entourage for his gear), one more bag was just too much. But there are still times when I curse out loud wishing I had brought it with me.

Only a couple photography apps on my phone. I toy with Instagram once in awhile, and I use Camera FV-5, which is a paid Android only app. By far the best camera replacement app I've ever used. Seriously, it's awesome and worth the 5 bucks. I also regularly use the Photographer's Ephemeris app, which is invaluable for tracking lighting conditions outdoors.

Hello, my name is George, and I have a problem... the darn site came up and I too belong in this support group with the rest of you. However, clearly the writer of the article is in denial based on the last paragraph statement, "I hope you realize this is all completely made up. There is no such syndrome,"

​Clearly this person needs and intervention. Sounds like they may be similar to a self medicating doctor in denial of their problem.

I drove all the way home tonight (about 30 miles) and did not stop to take one shot. I sat and watched the news and then I remembered I NEEDED to drive down to the river to check something. It just so happened the sun was setting at the same time so I just had to take a couple shots that I posted on my Potpourri page. I feel much better now:livid:
