Sync 2 Lightroom Catalogs?

Would anyone know if this is possible?
I just realized i have 2 separate catalogs, both with the same pictures but each has different sets of images worked-on.
So i must alternate between the 2 to even see if i've worked on an image or not...
It would be great to have everything in one catalog..

Under File/Import from another Catalogue... <--I don't have multiple cats to test with...but does it allow you to import from another catalogue and eliminate duplicates???

Looks like the right option.
It gives a choice to import settings, files etc
It took a while to complete but am not entirely sure if it did what it was supposed to :)
