Gaaah. I am really B-A-D at naming a price.

Girl wrote me for 5-7 pictures for her website (she is a dog trainer), she said she didnt have that much money, I ended up saying $88 - now she writes, really??? So cheap??

You are a truly great animal photographer. That is a gift that you have worked very hard to get to the point you are now. Also you have spend a ton on money to buy the best equipment.

Don't sell yourself short.

Send her the pics at 72 dpi....if she wants photo quality you could then add another charge for that.

I DID call my husband first, he said double that price, and somehow I talked him out of it lol.

You are right, or well - its for her website, but good point not giving her full resolution. The deal ended up with 5 pictures (she pays more if she wants more), advertising for my website and I will take the pictures in combination with taking pictures of her class during training (they can then buy it of my site, for $ 8.05 websize resolution - working hard on getting it to work with my logo now!).


I soooo need someone to do these prices for me, haha.

When she wrote that, you should have replied "that's $88 for each photo".:rolleyes:

Hi Kodiak, thanks :) I just mailed them for the family, cant wait to hear what they say. A boy, but yes, they hope for a child lol.

But I must say, even though I prefer dogs and kids, I learn soooo much with photographing adults. Not easy at all, guess adults think to much about how they look in this and this pose.

Thank you, Pat :) She haven't seen them yet, maybe she is having that baby now. Could be. She only had 2 weeks left.


Some pictures from a class doing dog training. Going another place tomorrow, 2 classes I think and also a small group monday. Seems everybody wants these training pictures suddenly.
