Chris and I started out with a picnic lunch at Morikami.
While we were eating this Jeep pulled up. We thought we'd watch them fly their kite, but they walked to the other side of the pine trees.
After lunch we pedaled to the other side of the pines.
They packed up and left. We never got to see the kite in the air.

Sounds like a nice day... went over to Merrimack and watched the Parade... Just sitting home now.. Wife had to work tonight 
Think we are doing a picnic lunch tomorrow and I will likely throw something on the grill for dinner tomorrow...

While We were playing on the exercise stuff, I spotted this hat on someone sitting at a picnic table. I asked if I could take her photo, she never said yes or no, but she got up and posed.
This is Bobby in her hat. I'm much better with wildlife photos than people photos.

When I asked for an e-mail address to send it, I noticed they were all taking cell phone photos, so I asked if they wanted a group photo. They asked Chris to join them.
I forgot to write down their names, but she has a boo-boo foot and couldn't join in the group shot.

The group started singing patriotic songs after the group photo. They asked us to join them. Really nice people.
After talking a few minutes, the guy in the red shirt (George, I think) asked Chris if he was in the service. Turns out they both did basic training at Fort Dix in NJ at the same time. They moved off to another table to chat.
The ladies told me they were having a meeting and asked me to join in with them. They are members of Overeaters Anonymous.

I really like the plaza shot ... the way the signs are layered in the photo.. Nice composition..
