Thanks Ted. I was pleasantly surprised with the red roses. I have trouble with the dark colors of the flowers in B/W.

Reposting - don't know how it wound up in the Birds thread.

From this mornings bike ride. I found this interesting.

The Red Winged Blackbirds were enjoying lunch when the Red Bellied Woodpecker decided to join them and chased off all but one.

The white blur is the woodpecker aiming for me! It didn't like getting its picture taken.

Inside the Green Cay Nature Center. They have some great hours - 9am - 3pm Tuesday through Friday.

These were taken through the dirty and spotted plexiglass. These gators are 1 - 2 years old.

After visiting with the gators we moved on to the turtle tank. Once again taken through the dirty spotted plexiglass.

I love turtles.

I was trying to see how close I could get to this Green Heron when a little girl was chasing her sister and spooked it. It was watching a juvenile flying about.

Leaving Green Cay we pass the bird feeder. I think this is the same Red Bellied Woodpecker as post #1206.

What? I like other stuff besides bugs!

I think this is an iguana.

It has a different face than I use to seeing, almost puglike.

Like the way the this guy positioned most of his head in the sunlight. This is the face I use to seeing on an iguana.
