Hi fellas, last weekend i joined our local nikon club for the get together event. One of the activites was shooting models. This is my first time. No fancy gear, no reflector etc..armed with just my normal lens and sweat.
Time : 8-10 am in bright and hot sunny day
ISO : 160-200

Model : Leya
ISO : 125
Metering ; Center-weighted
Mode : Aperture Priority f/2.8
Shutter speed 1/250"
WB= AUTO

as this is my first try, please comments.. :)

thanks

Very nice for a first time! Especially the second model shots. Check if your camera is on spot metering because it almost seems like it metered off the black outfit and overexposed? There's also a tendency to compose so that there is a bit more empty space above the model's head.

So if I fly there can I join your camera club? LOL ;)

PHOTO SUBMISSION RULES
1. Only one photo submission per day (24 hours). We don't want the forum to be monopolized by a single member.

2. Upload one image in your post. If you have a set of images, just provide a text link, either to your member gallery here on Nikonites.com or off-site. If you are unsure how to do this, please ask.

3. Include as much info as possible along with your image:
  • EXIF data
  • Artistic intent/summary of the photo
  • What specifically do you want feedback on?
Photo submissions will be moderated. If the above 3 items are not included along with your photo, your thread will be deleted.

ops...my apology and sorry Mr Moderator...i dont know about the rules... shall i delete all the photos and leave one?

Nice. Maybe i would suggest straightening the pic...
And i find something a little weird about the colors... Not sure if it's your white balance or your saturation
I can see some green on her face too
