I am pleased... ended up with a few good shots, narrowed down to 4 and finally picked one...

I chose it for the fact it was doing something... telling a story of how the scratching after a swim felt "So Good"

Here is my River Otter...

Titled "So Good"

Hope he is well liked, he is such a cute fella!! :)

I think the goal is to make it tough on Corey!! :) (Two of the photos are again outside the time window... we need to empasize that more next time - I will help with that too by reminding)

Side note... for those that work, I think you should consider giving 2 full weekends even if you don't give two weeks.. Working 5 days makes it tough if we have trips, family obligations or just plain lousy weather... Just a thought.

Eneloop video is perfect as there is a battery thread going right now!! I saw the lens and 800e review.. nice, gotta go watch the other 2 ..

I think the time frame on the challenges are just fine. Having a shorter time frame makes it even more of a challenge to bring your "A" game with you.

I don't always get weekends off, and I don't always get two days in a row off. Due to medical reasons my wife can not drive. Many days for me I come home and go right back out for family obligations.

The trick is always have a camera with you. If I can't or don't want to bring my DLSR I always have a Coolpix with me.

You're not going to get any photo's with your camera sitting in the bag.

Just my two cents. It's Corey's gig and up to him.

Rick, your 2 cents worth is always appreciated... Absolutely agree that it is up to Corey.. I was just looking for ways to assure we can maximize entries going forward.. Just for reference, the first 3 challenges all had 2 full weekends and the following:

Weather 14 days
Bokeh 11 days
Night 13 days

This one had 9 days and 3 of 4 weekend days. Not a big deal either way and I surely respect your opinion Rick and thank you for your comments... And yes, I pretty much have a camera with me all the time... ;)

Good luck in the judging tonight my friend!
