Ok, "TIME WILL TELL" LOL You really were bored. I really like the dashboard shot.

I didn't have a book with me, and I was tired of knitting, so I took a photo of my car's dashboard. It's part of my twisted sense of humor sometimes. I did put that as my status on Facebook for today. My friends will just think I am even weirder than they thought I was. :)

Facebook first then Nikonites and then the news. Local first, then my home town news then fox news. I end up waiting a long time sometimes.

In the morning during breakfast, I usually check the weather, the NY Times on line, then Nikonites. Sometimes work is so crazy I don't even get a chance to check my work e-mail at work.

4-5-13 Addendum:

I have been waiting for this pair of mallards to be in the creek when I drive over the bridge. It has taken a months since I saw them last time. Finally! My only question is, where are the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty when you need them. :)

Nice Barb! Is it cropped long?? or a panorama?

Cropped long. I have never done a panorama shot yet. I took that with my D3000. It may not be super high megapixels, but it still does a very good job. Besides, it's light and small and fits in my feedbag, oops, I mean purse. :)

Creature was blobbed out on the back of the couch enjoying the sun. I just loved the way the sun was coming in through the window and lighting her up. I used my 85 f/1.8. I do love that lens.

This photo was processed in two ways, B&W, and cropped. My favorite is the cropped version because of the detail of her fur, tongue and the way the light hits it.

Since Creature likes the attention of being photographed, I continued. This one I cropped a lot. Her face was originally in the shadow. Her eyes are not as dark as the photo implies. That was just the light, or lack there of.

I finished this shawl on Friday. I will be giving it to a friend who just had a double mastectomy about a week ago.

And, of course, the opportunistic feline photos. This is what happens when three of the four cats become bed slugs. :)

Very nice job on the shawl and I am sure she will appreciate... and I have a dog who lays just like the upper right cat!! :)

Pat, thanks. My friend doesn't know the shawl is coming. She will definitely be surprised when I give it to her tomorrow.

As for the cats, they are regular bed slugs. As soon as I walked in with the camera, Creature started in with her "cuteness" antics. She is terrible. :)
