I am unsure where I stumbled across this card but I am wondering if it would help/cure the buffer issue?

Do you mean the physical limitation in how the camera was designed to work, or an 'issue'?
If that's the case, one may be using the wrong card which cannot keep up with the camera. I'm not viewing that as a 'D7100 Buffer Issue'I took the OP to mean the small buffer size,in which case all you can do is have a card that will take the info as fast as the camera can send it,so a fast card may/will help.

I am speaking of an issue... I often shoot sports with my D7100. If it is set to CL or CH I usually get 8-12 shots before the "buffer" kicks in. This is with a 95mb/s card.
I belive the camera is working as designed. I encounter the same when shooting youth sports, I understood the limits when I bought the camera.I am speaking of an issue... Maybe semantics, maybe not.Carguy, the D7100 has a small buffer. You can call it what you want but i call that an issue.

I don't see that as an issue, as that is what the manufacturer intended to not compete with its more expensive models. I see it more as a misinformed customer assuming the buffer can magically change because its owner wants it to.
Need a larger buffer?
Shoot in jpg small.
Sorry Skene, I am far from misinformed. I knew about the buffer size when I purchased the camera. I simply found a faster SD card and was wondering would it decrease the lag. That is all.
