There is "free" money laying all around.....for some reason people get mad at me when I point this out. LOL I bought my D7100 from money I make for a lack of a better word, "picking". For me it's a very profitable hobby and the best part is the wife never questions me when I spend this "found" money.

It's not as overwhelming as it seems at first. I hate learning new things myself but it's pretty intuitive once you get into it.

Interested to read your review on the WU-1a. I'd like to get it, but the few reviews I read weren't inspiring.

I'm actually at 39% in the Kindle version of that book. I find it to be very useful.

That's just great Don. The good thing is that the menus and buttons are I'd guess identical to the 7000, so the learning curve shouldn't be that hard to follow.
    Congrats!

Well I haven't yet attached the adapter with only having the camera for an evening but I will use it tonight.
The deciding factor for me is that I use an Android phone and tablet - So I am not restricted to the basic Nikon software.
If you take a look at an Android app called "DSLR Dashboard" on youtube, you get full wireless control including shutter speed, bracketing etc. all of which need to be done on-camera using Nikon's free app.

I will start a new thread when I have put it through its paces!
