Iphone GPS for your camera

I would a very good app for your phone that will transfer GPS data to your photos. Very easy (and fast) to use.

So if you really want GPS data for your photos and don't like the dongles and cost this is a cheap and accurate way to add it.

looks good, I read reviews and found the QR code pictures are not always recognised (camera shake etc) causing a fail.
Can you use the image directly from the iphone instead?

Press the top button and keep it pressed, then press the front button to capture the screen shot.

I use a bluetooth GPS tracker and an Aokatec adapter on my D300 to geocode. Works perfectly.

Not crazy about automatic geocoding. Lightroom allows me to add it on fairly easily after the fact, which I prefer. Keeps people out of my backyard. :)

Jake: My wife and I are fortunate enough to leverage my work gained frequent flier miles into an annual overseas trip for us and combine it with another baseball centered road trip with the kids. Embedding GPS info in those images is very useful. I rarely use it for local family snaps.

Thankyou Don Kuykendall, I bought the app and tested it, works great.
I'll definitely use it on trips away from home.

I have a GPS bluetooth receiver and just purchased one of the BT receiverss for my D5100. Going on a cruise and geotagging will be great to reference back to certain locations.

I'm also going to try an app on my Android that is supposed to turn it into a BT capable GPS.

works great! wish it would create the output folder, and not have so much extra folders. But, well worth the cost.
