This was my try at some "artistic" shots at the first wedding I have ever done. I had rented a 35mm 1.8 lense for the event and this is one of the photos taken with that lens. I kinda like the way it turned out

These are some of my photos from my D3100. They are going to be roughly in order of when I first started shooting until now.

Any comments or critique is welcome! :D

Have you progressed beyond the kit lenses? You're pictures have great punchy colours. :beaten:

All of the animal and the one bridge photo were shot with either my Nikon 55-200 "kit" lens (came as an expanded kit lens package, I bought it after my camera though) or my Nikon 50mm 1.8g. The rest of them were shot with my 18-55 kit lens. All of these photos have been post processed in Lightroom 5 and I always like to pump the vibrance up a touch.

I absolutely love my 50mm 1.8g. It gives some amazingly sharp images and does well in low light! It is a lens I would recommend to anyone and it can be had for around $200.

You can click on the image link below each image and go into the exif data on the photo and it will tell you what lens each picture was shot with. Also I have a lot more photos in my photo stream on Flickr which that link will take you to.

Great pictures GeekBush. For me the cat stands out in particular. :D

My only critique would be to space your pictures apart when displaying them.
