Since this was about the 85mm f1.8G I'll draw it back in and say that I opted for the 1.8D do to construction. I like my 50mm G but it does feel cheap. I don't think they will have the life span a 500$ prime lense should. Love the D bokeh is great, one of my favorite lenses.
