Back from class, out of the 4 photos I submitted, the instructor reviewed 9 and 10. He said they were both sharp and the wing details were great.

It's mating season for the Great Egrets. The male does a lot of courtship flights.

I am going to Jamica in April! so looking forward to some bird shots.. this has me thinking,, mmmm better get that TCII 1.4 for my 300 mm F4 before I go.

It's still hit or miss with me. I am keeping far more than before. Like the kid in the movie Mighty Ducks - I get 1 outta 5.

We have barn swallows that move in when the snow finally starts to disappear and raise young in our barn. The only pics I've ever gotten were of them on the nests because they are amazing acrobats and just following with your eyes can be difficult. I can't believe you were able to focus in on them in flight
