How many members have pre-ordered a D800/800E?

Hello DW… I pre-ordered the 800 at the beginning of April from B&H. Still no news on when it might arrive. Do you, or anyone know if any other retailer has them in stock? I called Nikon today, they thought they would have some in next week.

I still haven't received my D800 (B&H) either. Very frustrating. When Nikon said they would have them next week, what did that mean? Did it mean B&H would have them or Nikon would then begin distribution to outlets like B&H?

I shared with the customer service rep that I had an order with B&H, and would cancel the order if I was reasonably assured that I would be able to get one directly from Nikon. His response was, it was my decision to cancel the order, which ever the case, I could check with Nikon next to see if they had any in stock. Sounded like Apple's stock not B&H.
