I use my 3000 as a backup for my 300 or when I'm going to be outdoors for awhile and not shooting anything too important - it's lighter so it's just better if I don't need the bells, whistles and extra features of the 300.

I bought a D3000 for a little over 100 euro. it will be used as a backup body along with my D7100

Have the D3000 as my only body...if I get a return on my taxes I`m thinking about cracking the little piggy on my desk and go for a D610
