This is what -19.5°F looks like. Ice crystals on the inside of the window glass.

I may be the last guy with a camera to learn of that lighting tip :excitement: ...that really works! Thanks for taking the time to post this.

Here's the pop-up softbox (Neewer) I have with a sample image that needed a bit more effort. A trial at best. Light source was just the ambient light coming through the windows into the room.

NEEWER PHOTOGRAPHY TENT SOFTBOX KIT - neewer

Has this front with slit to shoot through seemed to help with reflections on the shiny subject.

Upon processing I discovered the shadow. I reckon more light must have been coming from behind.
