That's our dwarf variety, just so you know. . .
I wasn't either, but when looking at the Merlin APP on my phone, there was a photo that looked similar to the first under "Red-Tailed" Hawk. The last two are the same bird. Ha!
I have been burning quite a few tumbleweeds when the wind allows out here. The fun of living in the Southern Arizona Desert. Ha!
I believe the first is a juvenile ferruginous hawk

I was playing around with bracketing, preparing for an HDR sunset. After combining the three shots for HDR, I didn't really like what I had, so... I played around some more. Tried some Oil Paint effects using GIMP. This is a threadfor learning, isn't it. Ha!

Well ime having fun this morning,i cant quote poststhis HDR stuff i thought how hard can it be,different exposures let photoshop sort it,easy but you live and learn.
And thats the adobe head quarters,wouldn't think they could run it from there
I don't have PS, so I used GeodesicHDR from Microsoft Research Cambridge. I haven't really been impressed with it. I think I can probably do better using GIMP. It only takes quite a bit longer. Ha!
Now you know why I don't have PS (Adobe) Ha!
