Ok, I can tell that I'm going to have to ignore this thread from now on! What I've seen so far is making me even more ticked off that I had to miss the trip for a ^(&$#P&(&# meeting at work!

I likely won't ignore it, but that would likely be better for me!

Anyway, you have all started posting really great shots, and I look forward to seeing many more! Hopefully, I'll make it to the reserve before long...

Just put them away. According to my good friend, Cliff Claven, it is a well known fact that birds and other wildlife detest cigarette smoke and go out of their way to avoid being photographed by cigarette smokers!!!

Don't let him know, but we can try to get him to break the habit next year!

That's right Pete, you were among the missing when we were at this tree. Everyone was shooting away and I couldn't find it. The guys kept trying to show me where it was and I just didn't see it. Turns out I wasn't looking up high enough.

I saw this one and all I could think of is one of those old westerns and the owl was pointing at you and calling you out... very nice photo. Excellent timing.
