No problem. I'm sure you get to see some things from that truck that most of us never will.

I used to. I gave up over the road driving a year ago to be home every night with my family. Now I'm what they call a local driver.
I get to see Atlanta and I-75 all day. Make my deliveries and pickups and head home. I like it much better this way.

BTW one of my best friends name is Steve, and he lives in Bethel CT. Drives a big Lime green Kenworth.:)

I'm about 30 miles from Bethel. Worked there for a few years. Can't say that I've seem a lime green Kenworth. Must be fairly easy to spot.

With a purple umbrella, and a fifty cent hat....
As always, start the day out with some tunes. I think I'm going to make this a permanent feature on this thread.

Coke again. I'm going to have to figure out what else I can shoot during my workday, otherwise you guys are going to get real bored with this thread.:indecisiveness:

Home sweet home. My lovely wife's flowers greet me after a hard days work.

You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain
Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain.

There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away
They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeletons of burned out Chevrolets.

I love the connection between the lyrics and the photos! Lol Way to go my friend! :D

Thanks for commenting on that very particular thing. I was hoping some would notice.
I almost didn't have much of a day shooting wise. I had the XM radio shot from earlier in the day, and when I was heading back to the yard, I remembered my friends Chevy is still parked there.

AHA!!! It was like one of those accident things, and didn't plan on it.

Like yesterday, I wish I had a purple umbrella and a fifty cent hat. LOL:)

The Chevy, I believe is a 1964. One of my co workers owns it and going to restore it.

Yup, that's definitely a '64 Malibu. I know, 'cause I used to own one, except mine was a Malibu SS 396. Everything else is the same, though. Sweet machine....wish I still had it. :)

Thanks for clearing that up, as I wasn't a 100% sure.
I love old muscle cars, but I'm more into the late sixties and early 70's stuff.

Man, what a crappy day today. Spent most of it driving or sitting in the rain in Atlanta. I could not take any shots that was worth a darn. Left the house 8 am this morning, and I just got back.
I almost missed my daily picture project but I did the best I could under the circumstances.

I'm off work the next 2 days so I'll make up for it. So here is todays total debackle. :crushed:

"Seems I've got to have a change of scene, cause every night I have the strangest dreams
Imprisoned by the way it could have been, left here on my own or so it seems
I've got to leave before I start to scream .Someone locked the door and took the key"

These two shots are framed really nicely and they have great colors. I would just dial back the processing a touch. The red tree is a bit too bright and you can see the brushing overlap. Also, I would try to brighten up the darker parts of the church in that last shot just to even it out a bit.

Wonderful framing and I love the subjects. Colors are awesome. Great work!

"Will it be the rain that clings to your bosom
Will it be the sunshine that dries your golden hair
Will it be the wind that warns of my returning
Will a rose be in your arms when I find you waitin' there"
