    Opinions please

Considering trading most of my gear for a z6ii + adapter , would you guys keep a Tamron 24-70 2.8 g2 or trade that too for the kit package of
    z6ii + adapter + 24-70 f4 z lens , I need the adapter to go with Tamron 70-200 2.8 g2 which I love
All the z range is pretty hard to find in stock but a local store has the z6ii adapter and lens kit

The 24-70 f4 z lens is amazing and very sharp.
You could also sell all your gear and buy Z6ii and a 24-200 z separately, what you loose is that you will get a slower lens, but that lens is also amazing. I don't know what camera you have today but you could just jump up the ISO, the Z6ii will handle that very very well.

I would buy the kit that includes the Nikon Z 24-70 f4 S lens. It is a great lens and it stayed on my Z6 most of the time. This is not the traditional "Kit Lens" people are used to seeing. This lens is the premium grade lens. Nikon is using the "S" on the Z mount lenses to designate their premium lenses. I loved this lens, but I did upgrade to the Z 24-70-2.8 S lens a few months ago because most of the shots I take are in a near dark Church and the room I get with the F2.8 helps... Plus my wife wanted to get me a lens for my birthday.

I do like the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2. I have it and it works great. I never had their 24-70. But I am so impressed with the Z lenses I am trying to stay with them.

I will add my kudos for the Z 24-70mm f4 S. I have the APS-C Z50 that I got with the two kit lenses. Those lenses are surprisingly good but I wanted a general purpose/walking around lens. After reading the reviews of the 24-70, I found a deal on a refurbished one. It provides an effective FL range of 36-105mm that is just what I wanted. It doesn't have VR and the Z50 doesn't have IBIS but as long as I use a shutter speed that's fast enough, that lack isn't an issue. Bottom line is that the Z 24-70mm f4 S produces excellent images.
