Grainy Photos

Hey! My friend messed with my camera and changed all the settings (Z6). I've been keeping the iso low but all my pictures are grainy. I've reset the settings on my camera. Is there anyway of telling if he broke my camera? Or my lens? Anything I should try? Thanks for the help!

I suspect auto ISO is on and the high limit is set at the max ISO. Just depress the ISO button and move the front shutter dial to turn auto on/off. Limit setting is in the setup menu.
