The only one in the nest, this was taken at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrels Inlet SC. I understand that the other chick fell out of the nest but was rescued by BG staff. Mom was nowhere to be found, we searched high and low for her, but I am sure she was not far away from junior! The chick appears to be looking up at her in the second one, but she must have been well hidden.
