old guy vs the young pretender

I let Ryan use my old D7000 with the 70-300mm lens on our Sunday outings to San Jacinto.

Here are the comparisons, i did the same PP as i would on my own shots, My pics are first in both cases.

Got to give it to him on handicap points @Roy1961 -- your first is tighter, cleaner, but his is the better comp, just held back by experience and the equipment. He wins the second hands down.

i may need to charge him for lessons now @wev lol

you should hear him when hes taking shots, "this is my job and i love it".

Could be the other way round :encouragement:

Looks like he is doing very well Roy.
His first shot would really benefit from a bit of a crop to take out that blue sky in the corner.

These are mostly taking from the car, when we stop or get out for a walk hes back to throwing rocks or playing in the rocks with his toy trucks.
