1972 6mm f2.8 Fish Eye Lens Photo w/Z9
I was just watching some YouTube today… post stomach bug recovery, and I came across this video demonstrating a monster 6mm f2.8 fish eye lens being used on a Z9 via an FTZ adapter. I just thought it was pretty amazing lens was made made in 1972. It is the widest lens Nikon has ever made.
Some of the shots were so so but some were pretty cool.

Wow, that really WAS cool. Thanks for posting this, Dan! I liked a lot of the shots a lot more than I thought I would, like the two shots where he aimed the camera straight up and got a 360 degree view of the ground. Shame they couldn't have gone inside St. Paul's for some interior pics!

Those were my favorite as well. I agree that it would have been very interesting to get a shot inside St. Paul's as well. It changed my idea about fish eyes as well. Pretty cool overall.Dangerspouse Thanks/liked this post

Now I want that for some full-sky Milky Way photos! Although I think the composition might break most star-stacking software.

Thanks for sharing that video! I've read about the lens and it was fun to see it in action!
