@moab the other option is to go half ISO half flash pointed up/bounced/just diffused and then ride 125-250 shutter to make sure you get the shots. That'll be ambient and nicely filled lighting and look, although for the actual ceremony I'd probably avoid that.

At the same time, you have you have Df and a 750, so up to 5000 ISO is real safe as long as you post process later, so you have a ton of safety. Df w/ 85mm and 750 with a 50 can probably ride you through the whole thing.

But on the whole convergence thing, just think about what story that might be to tell/cover - FORUM comes and helps a member out. Not unheard of, sure, but very rare and caring to the bone. (Kinda actually considering, because that would be quite the experience honestly).

Howdy... Sorry have been away on a camping trip. Only have limited internet. Will try and be succinct.

Personally I would use the zooms for the ceremony. Primes are too restrictive. For prep I would have your 35 and your sharpest fastest zoom.

For pics afterwards again sharpest zoom.group shots shoot a min of f5.6 for a full group shot I usually shoot f11.

For bridal party pics I shoot as wide as I can. Usually trying to put the sun behind the couple / bridal party to ensure shadow free faces.

Reception I would go fast prime no flash on 1 body and fastest sharpest zoom with the flash on the other.

My go-to settings for the flash camera is iso between 800 and 1250, f4.0 and shutter around 100. Flash for simplicity put on ttl BL set at -0.7 and see how that goes. Your flash may struggle at anything over 150mm zoom.

That's one of the reasons why a lot of photographers no longer do weddings...

When I actively shot weddings this is basically what I carried:
4 -bodies same make , lenses: zoom, wide angle, portrait etc. the lenses mounted on the camera, two tripods (use both at church in strategic places also at reception), 4- strobes , plenty of cards usually rotated as certain camera/lens combo had the more usage. New cards each season (a little anal) on that one. Light stands and modifiers usually set up prior so no fiddling around. Wife was actually my second shooter, helping in getting people ready to be photographed, had an eye and a sewing kit for detail and actually a better photographer than me because of attention to detail. She actually got the girls to relax in the dressing room while photographing them as I did the groom and groomsmen.
I originally started with two cameras at the beginning and two strobes until one day a the strobe died; luckily the reception was at the other end of town and the camera store was in the middle. The is was in the 70's and I knew the owner and told him what happen. He said sign here (receipt) handed me a strobe and battery (a 510) and said come back Monday to finish the deal. I did buy the strobe a Honeywell.
You need backup on backup hence the multiple camera's lenses and flash as you cannot do over. At least with a portrait shoot you can do over but generally the wedding is a one time deal. Sometimes your lucky and you get a bride that is easy to work with like Jen. If the exif it was non-nikon.

Congratulations, looks like your pictures are going to be great. I did a couple of weddings back in the film days and this was enough to convince me I did not want to do it for a living. At list with digital you can chimp a few shots and see that all is working. With film, I did not have that luxury.

If these are any indication of the rest of the shots, you did real well. Kevin H

I really like the "crew" shot.
