Wondering if anyone else has this lens?
I've had mine for about a month now, bought it 2nd hand as mint-, no signs of use, boxed and everything included.
For wildlife, the ability to zoom from 300-800 to find/track the subject is excellent and f5.6 doesn't present a problem even in low light with the modern high ISO cameras now available (I took one image in almost dark conditions at ISO 25,600!).
The downside for me is the weight and the fact that I can't get it into my backpack lens case with the camera body attached as it's too long and there isn't a bigger case
