70-200 f2.8 w/ 2x Teleconverter. Sitting in China but photographing North Korea.

Its a little soft and focus is not great but a keeper in my book.

Here is another one I shot at 400mm on a tripod and with wireless remote (ISO +1000). I think this is the North Korean Navy. They were apparently broken down because they sat there overnight... and yes, I'm 95% sure the guy in the back is taking a leak.

BTW, its the 2x TCIIIe

Wow that is just awesome. I have the VRII version of the 70-200 and I just bought the TC20E III can't wait to try it out but I will NOT be photographing things like this but none the less that is awesome!!!! Thanks

I'm not happy with the Nikon 2x TCII. The 2x TCIIIe is much sharper if you want longer reach with your zoom lens.

I had changed my mind recently and put the NIKON TC-20-EIII before anything else as futher telephoto option to really use the qualities of that 70-200 f2,8 VRII.
I´ll probably never go for the expensive long prime fast telephoto lenses.

@Geoffc that is convincing!

Keep sending
ajsorrell & others interesting subject converter and North Korea.
