Just a bit tempted if the price is right, from what i can gather i will still get auto exposure in aperture priority mode on the D7000,its a 300mm F4.5 IFED

Hi Mike,

I have, since the times of the F3HP, a 200ƒ4 Macro lens of the same generation. My
200 looks very similar in design and function to your 300. It always was an awesome
tool with it's IF feature and removable tripod mount ring! No AF though!

Great glass!

…makes me think of a episode of StarTreck where kids were born babies but with all
the experience of their culture…

Can you imagine all the goofs we could have spared ourselves! =)

I do not. But I would. If the price was right I would bite. Even just to run it full manual, it would go well with my 135mm f2.8 E Series!

Hope you enjoy my first post here, NikonZone told me about this thread. NIKON BILL LOL!

Yes,10 days waiting to get my Kodachrome back, nearly as long for my ektachrome,or into the dark room before tea, which meant time mounting the slides after, black and white and colour prints that where dodged, burnt in or spotted on an individual basis,oh how i miss the good old days.
