hello to you all I am a new user to dslrs i have only ever used mobile phone phone cameras so i have so much to learn.
yesterday after reading too many reviews on dslrs i bought a Nikon D5100 with a 18-105 vr lens.
I see there area lot of people from the usa on here and as the usa are 10 years ahead of us in the uk :p i thought this would be the ideal place to start. So hello to you i hope i can learn a few things from you all :)

Hi Yomper. Welcome. There are a lot of UK members on this forum. Some may live near you. I also don't think you can truthfully say we're ahead of you... After all, you have the Queen and we have Obama...
