I gave up trying to learn "everything" a long time ago. I did, however, find some types of photography I really do like and decided to concentrate on those areas only. Makes it a whole lot more fun.
and you live in a wonderful part of the world with vibrant colors, dramatic sunsets, fantastic people shots, so,, enjoy capturing the world around you, start with composition, and think think think about the story you want to convey, or the feeeling. and then go from there.
