I am a new member here, I recently purchased a Nikon D5100 kit from Cost Co.

I am looking forward to using my new camera, so far so good.

This site has some good information, I'm looking through the subject matter little by little.

Welcome! I am fairly new (90 days ) and have the same camera as you bought. Love it, you will too hopefully. One of the most important things to getting the most out of it is understand all the features... Read the manual, then keep it close as a reference..

The other is practice... the more you shoot, the more you will learn what works and what does not!
