Hi All, im Jon.

I have beenphotographing for 20 odd years now, but over the last 4 / 5 years been getting into it more and more.

Im currently looking at converting over to Nikon from canon (once i sell all my equipment. lol), so hopefully i can get some help and advice.

I have tried a few Nikon bodys now, but have made my choice to go for a D300, or if i can get one cheaper a D300s.

Have all ready manged to pick up a 50mm 1.8D lens for £40, and picking up a 35-80 D and 80-200 D lens both for £20 including a F50 body. I know these 2 lens are not anything to shout about, but i like some play lens that i dont mind if anything happens to them.
Will search for some proper lens once i got the body and got use to it.

Welcome ... Nikon newbie here, I lived in Ashford for a few years and then Totton (both in Hampshire, UK) for 3 years (when I was an angelic youngster) before moving to OZ, and thankfully leaving the snow behind.
