The first series was shot just outside Ozark, Arkansas. The second series was shot locally in Washington state.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but to me all these lack contrast and have been underexposed. You should try to improve them by adding exposure and contrast in PP. Just my opinion.

No bubble bursting here. Always open to suggestions.

Still getting the hang of digital B&W.
I still shoot most of my B&W with film.

Ah that explains it. Are your negs a little on the thin side? Maybe 10% increase in development time.

Any tips you might have are always appreciated.
I have not been happy with any of my conversions. Until using Lightroom.
I tend to darken them. Because they all seem flat. I can't seem to get the same depth. As with film.
