Nostalgia weekend Hawker Fury

Taken at a 1940's Nostalgia weekend at Croft Racing Circuit, this was one of many photos taken but I thought it one of the best, comments welcome.
Nikon D2x with Sigma 28-300mm hand held.

Nice shot. I have more of a composition question than a comment.
Would the shot be more dramatic if the plane was placed in the top left corner instead of the top right?
Did you crop it with that placement or is that the full frame?

It just seems to me that the eye leading direction with the plane doing a loop would be for the motion / direction that the plane would take from that position, would be for it to drop to the lower right and out of the frame leaving too much negative space.

I agree Ken, I like the fact that the plane is heading into the frame but from a the actual capture this is about the best crop I could pull off, it was more or less in the top RH corner of the frame. Serves me right for being stood on a slightly slippy grass bank when trying to get a decent photo
