New D7K is a workhorse!!

Today at a birthday party for my nephew I blasted off 375 photos and lots of video. This thing is a true workhorse. So happy I switched to Nikon.

The videos turned out great. I manual focus everything because the sound of the Autofocus motor will ruin everything.

Hmmmm looks like I might have to get out today and put that feature to the test!

Not to long ago I was at a grappling competition and I filmed for the greater part of 7 hours. Was an absolute dream.

Didn't make it out today but perhaps tomorrow the weather will be nice and not in the triple digits and I can test it out.

My 18-50mm is what I use to shoot video. There is 2 large families of geese that reside near the ponds next to my house. I want to try and get out there and film or photograph them before they fly away. They are very aggressive so I have to be careful.

I purchased I high Tech Stereo Mic from Amazon. It came from China, but was only $40..
It is Great. Well made. No motor noise. Long reach, form to cove Mic picups. Storage bag..
