I had two CF-18's thunder over my house twice yesterday. First time around, i missed them - i did not have my camera. Once i grabbed my camera and just dialed into auto - seriously did not have enough time to take any test shots - they came over a second time. i had the lense all the way out to the end, but had a hard time getting the AF to lock on. I pulled back a bit and was then able to get a focus on them. Has anyone else experienced this with this lens? Anyhow, perhaps i was just to excited and was not taking my time to really get the shot focused... i don't know... In the end, i got some decent pics.
