D7000 - Set picture control - what settings do you use?

I am playing like crazy with my new camera, trying to get some base settings at least. Because I am new and still perfecting (ha!) my handheld technique, I am never quite sure if settings or something else is factoring into the picture results.

Anyway, I was just wondering what settings other folks are using on the "set picture control" and if you are tweaking things in there or just leaving them alone.

I simply use raw and do the post processing afterwards. I find this is the simple best way for me to do it.

I suppose RAW is around the corner for me. Because I'm in learning mode right now I really didn't want to have to go through so many huge files that are just so-so.
