Hello all,
my name is Damion and i just order my first Nikon....well ok my first DSLR, I am very excited to get started i check the order status everyday hahaha.

i have picked up the book DSLR for dummies and i have join this site in the hope i can learn how to take great professional looking shots.

I look forward to asking may questions as soon as my D3100 shows up

As I often do, I tell people to read their manual first, before asking any questions. More often than not, the answer you are looking for is right there in your manual. If there is something you don't understand in the manual, then by all means, ask.........but always refer to the manual FIRST, as it will give you the answer Nikon wants you to have. Welcome to Nikonites, and we're looking forward to hearing from you, and seeing how you do with your new D3100. Have fun.
