I joined this site after purchasing my 1st Nikon D5100. I would love to learn as much as I can about photography so I can fulfill my "dream job" of being a full-time photographic artist. I have so much to learn still it's hard to know where to begin or even find the time to go about and take photos.

Originally I'm from California and was a wood carver, however I know reside in Arizona and work from home selling homeowner's insurance nationwide.

Glad to see you here. I too am new and picked up a 5100 in Jan. Love it so far! Its a friendly bunch here! Remember to have fun.
