Hello:

Here, I wanted shallow DoF and light contrast. The second requirement, I'm happy with, but the first one ... not too sure, I wonder how it would have looked with a higher aperture and most of the cactus in-focus ... unfortunately I didn't take another one :(

More in-focus would have been nice, maybe add a little vibrancy or saturation in post processing? Could also try sharpening it up a little.

Jen: I followed some of your advice (saturation) on this other shot. I think, on this one, DoF is actually nice ;)
