D800: Camera Raw compatibility update

Hey I keep trying and still can't open in cs 5 and lr 4 I uninstalled and reinstalled cs5 then did update still get that error message can't open helpppp thanks marco

simply click on HELP menu in ur photoshop....then click on UPDATES...it will automatically update ur latest camera raw.. my Raw files of D800 perfectly working with CS5 extended by the same procedure :)

If you've got Lightroom then a highly recommend that you import your raw pictures as DNG, it saves a huge amount of space and, if Adobe are to be believed, the DNG format will last for ever and ever and ever and ever and......

Definitely try it out. The DNG is an actual RAW file but Adobe's RAW file, it also makes life easier inter-changing with different agencies, clients etc.
