My wife and I just returned from a marriage retreat put on by the Army. I wish I could have taken more pictures, but here is some that I did take.

Well I think the only one that came out noisy is the 2nd one and that's because it was shot at ISO 1800 (so no surprise there). The rest of your shots were at ISO 100 or 200 so no noise issues that I can notice. However I will say that the 2nd last shot of you and your wife (I presume) looks like it's been over-sharpened so that would also explain the noise even though it was shot at a lower ISO. Did you do any post work to these shots?

Here's the EXIF info. for that 2nd shot of your son (?) that came out noisy:

The second one was shot on the auto setting for indoors/party so that would explain that. I did do post processing, but I don't believe I messed with the sharpness of the photos. I didn't know if it was something with the site or what. Like I said I have posted it on other sites, and this is the only one that turned out like that.

I really like the photos. Brings back old memories of when I was stationed over there. I did get a weekend R&R at Garmish. Took that endless cable car ride to the top and back. That was way back in '71 and spouses showing up was kinda frowned on unless you were an officer or at least a first sgt. Needless to say, beautiful country up there.

Thank you Mike. I wish we could have taken the cable ride to the top, but not enough time. It was well worth the time though.
