Printing with NX2

I have, up until now, always used Photoshop for my images; I've now started to use NX2 but find in impossible to get a printed image that is anywhere near the on screen image. Is there a simple solution to this, I've calibrated the monitor, all the papers I use are profiled. Set up is XP SP3, CS4 and Epson 1290S printer.

In your camera, do you have it set as sRGB or AdobeRGB? I believe that has something to do with how a print turns out.
