L LensWork Senior Member Dec 24, 2011 #4 No, adjusting the diopter of the viewfinder will have no effect on the sharpness of the images. The proper way to adjust the diopter is to set it so that the viewfinder info (aperture, shutter speed, etc.) appears the sharpest.
