D5100 settings

I'm sure this has been talked about many times but I couldn't find it in my searches.

For the focus settings when in P mode, what do most people seem to use most often; Auto, Dynamic, Single, 3D?

Overall for P mode are there a certain settings most people seem to like best;

Sharpness
D-Lighting
WB
etc....

A good starting point for clean crisp shots of people/portraits and also a setup for scenic shots?

I usually leave auto focus in the 11pt setting on my D3100 or use single if I need to isolate the subject. I would definitely turn off D lighting, some folks have reported issues with it and I leave white balance on auto for most situations.

In lightroom I can make all of these adjustments after the shot, I prefer the image to be as "raw" as possible when taken.

As a side note, I would get out of "P" mode and work from "A". This will help you control depth of field (in a sense, the depth of focus) in the situations you mentioned
