Thanks Robin. I am wanting to try and start earning from photography and need better kit. The options with Sony would be the new A65/A77 but i'm not too sure about the electronic view finder. The other reason is that i am looking at getting a 17-50mm F2.8 or similar range. To go Sony or Nikon is expensive but i can afford Sigma or Tamron. From what i can find the Sigma is a good bit better than the Tamron but Sony are famous for stripping gears on Sigma lenses so i dont want to go there. I know that to change is not always the best move financially but the gear i currently have for the Sony is not really up to standard for what i want to do so i would have to change it all anyway.

I hope i havent put you to sleep!

Hi Bilko. Thanks for the welcome. Always good to meet locals on forums. Some of my best mate have been met through forums! Hope we both learn loads from the forum and you have fun using your D3100!
